Much love, y’all!
BA
Texan to the bone and an unrepentant Daddy's Girl, BA Tortuga spends her days with her basset hounds and her beloved wife, texting her sisters, and eating Mexican food. When she's not doing that, she's writing. She spends her days off watching rodeo, knitting and surfing Pinterest in the name of research. BA's personal saviors include her wife, Julia Talbot, her best friend, Sean Michael, and coffee. Lots of coffee. Really good coffee.

BA Tortuga’s Roughstock world comes to life in this collection of short stories. Featuring Beau and Sam from the novel File Gumbo and Coke and Dillon from And a Smile, these tales range from a long-ago first time to a bullfighter’s retreat, providing an intriguing glimpse into a bullrider’s daily life, as well as how the hard-working cowboy protection team blows off steam. Stories include Starting the Roux, Cowboy Christmas, Just Another Day at the Office, The New Guy and the Retreat and Too Careful by Half.
All stories previously published in the Sip short story line.

Were-cougar Brock wants a special gift for his folks for their anniversary, mainly to cover up his lack of enthusiasm for going back to his small hometown. When he decides on replicating his mom’s old china pattern, the last person he expects to find at the design company is his old flame, Clay.
Clay has changed everything from his hair color to the way he eats to escape his past. Can Brock convince him that it’s better to be himself, and for them to be together?
Nothing.

I’m worthless as tits on a boar hog today.

How’s y’all?

He tried to call Alan again and got nothing. Someone let his minutes run out again, he’d bet. Damn it, where was the damned fool? He hoped Alan knew he was still welcome, even though Colby had gotten tired of being second to the rodeo, had maybe had a little snit and not answered the phone for a bit.
This was still Alan’s home, right?

Except that my niece lost a friend and two other friends were hurt in a car accident.
And my brother broke his neck.
And we were in a tornado.
And there was a windstorm and a snowstorm in ABQ.
Last week.
No one has this much stuff happen to them...
Yeah. Right.
Much love, y’all,
BA
The soft voice was cultured, smooth as silk. “How can I help you?”
He stood, trying not to knock the latte over. When Brock looked up, though, he dropped the stupid little cup right on the white sofa. Holy shit.
“Clay?”

Okay, so y'all know how you meet someone that’s truly so dear you just give thanks daily for them? That’s Katherine.
She is the most supportive, dear lady and I love her dearly. She’s a happy ending girl, which tickles me to death.
Also, she loves Teen Wolf and I blame her for making me watch.
I am totally looking forward to Cast the First Stone, which is coming out from Torquere Press.
You can find her here — http://katherinehalle.wordpress.com/
Go visit.
She rocks. :D
Much love, y’all!
