Texan to the bone and an unrepentant Daddy's Girl, BA Tortuga spends her days with her basset hounds and her beloved wife, texting her sisters, and eating Mexican food. When she's not doing that, she's writing. She spends her days off watching rodeo, knitting and surfing Pinterest in the name of research. BA's personal saviors include her wife, Julia Talbot, her best friend, Sean Michael, and coffee. Lots of coffee. Really good coffee.

LOLL the Lizard Baby? Why that nickname, I'm curious!
When I met her first she was very curled up and scrunched up and I said, “Give that baby to her Auntie Pooh!” Kristi handed her over and I sat with her in a sunbeam and I was obviously very warm because she uncurled herself like a wee lizard. From then on, she was the lizard baby. :D
