What I'm Reading This Week

Oh, y'all. I try very very hard to read for a minimum of an hour everyday on something for pure enjoyment. (Also, I have a goal of 100 books annually, and I'm on number 80, so read read read)

This week I'm working on Home of His Own by TA Chase, Overlord's Chosen by Bronwyn Green, How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper, and The Strain by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Logan.

I'd love to hear what y'all are reading this week, and how you're enjoying them. :D

Funny story - I am a compulsive reader..I read while I am doing *almost* everything else in my life.... Anyway! Last yesr, one of the ladies in my office read me a news story about a professor who had finished 500 books in one year. I replied that I was pretty sure I read more than that every year. So Jan. 1st of this year, I started a spreadsheet - author, title, etc. As of today, I am on number 582. (Happy to share the spreadsheet with you if you'd like to see it...quite a few of your books are on it!)
Oh, this week? Carol Lynne's Sunset Ridge, Stormy and Lynn's Tank's Tweak, Bailey Bradford's Chance's Vindication, and Crescent Dawn (a Clive Cussler novel) that's been sitting in my Kindle waiting for me for months!

I have read so many new books in the last 10 days or so...uh, some are:

Dance With Me by Heidi Cullinan
Rough Road to Happiness by Drew Hunt
Rayne's Wild Ride by Jambrea Jo Jones
Tanks Tweak by: Lynn Hagen and Stormy Glenn
Sully by Lynn Hagen

Now? I seem to be in the mood to read some old favorites, which include Suzanne Brockmann, Sean Michael, a certain BA Tortuga (I can't get enough of Galen and Shane so the Storm Series is on my list) then some Mary Calmes and Ally Blue to round out the week...I have TONS of books lined up still to read, but, gotta go back and visit some old faves once in awhile right;)

Elaine - totally agree with the "old faves" concept - seems like the Jarheads series is on my reading list about every 3rd or 4th month, and right now, Sonny and MJ (Racing the Moon) are on the Kindle for spare moments...and Shane and Galen are awesome (especially the "angsty" parts, right?) -- too many books, not enough time!!

Ladycelt: Wow. That's impressive!! If you get a chance, I'd love to see your list. I'm always looking for a new read.

Elaine: I hear you! I have my authors that I read like a security blanket. :D
