It was 95 degrees here, which means a few things. One, curtains all shut for the duration. Two, hello shorts and tank tops (it's been flip flop season for weeks). Three, no using the oven unless there is no other option. Four? Walk the dogs in the morning instead of the afternoon.
This means getting up 45 minutes earlier than usual. Yuck. Of course, it also means getting the dogs walked early and the possibility of a nap in the afternoon, but...
Man, it was hard to get up early today...
Texan to the bone and an unrepentant Daddy's Girl, BA Tortuga spends her days with her basset hounds and her beloved wife, texting her sisters, and eating Mexican food. When she's not doing that, she's writing. She spends her days off watching rodeo, knitting and surfing Pinterest in the name of research. BA's personal saviors include her wife, Julia Talbot, her best friend, Sean Michael, and coffee. Lots of coffee. Really good coffee.
