Authors I Love: Bronwyn Green

The first time I met Bronwyn was at Authors After Dark.

I have to tell y’all, she’s like joy made flesh. She was the very first person to speak to us, she made us feel welcome and happy. It wasn’t just me: she smiled at EVERYBODY.

And that was before we became friends.

She’s a good mom, she makes star babies and ceramics and knits and sews and… She understands the craft room addiction. She also has cats which I can appreciate from afar (I have the deadly allergic cat reaction).

Now, the books.

I have read almost all of the things. Almost. And what I love about them is that reading Bron’s books are like listening to her talk to you. She’s telling you a story, straight up and I love that. It makes me miss her more and less, all in the same breath.

Go explore. I’ll wait.

Much love, y’all.

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Bronwyn face to face, but have been reading her books and blog for years and feel that I know her a bit. The way you describe her is just as I have imagined, friendly, outgoing, and sincere. Someone who would be a great friend!

Have you seen her blog today? http://bronwyngreenblog.blogspot.com/2014/02/three-things-id-like-to-learn-to-do-in.html I love those sweaters but I NEED that rocking chair!!!
